Project Description
: Historically, both of these studies have been standalone, static documents. We have found they are not often used, though we realize there is great potential benefit in both studies. Moving forward, we are going to reassess our approach to these studies, focusing more on the data and what that means. As such, we anticipate these will be combined, the guidebook aspect of each will go away, and the data will be housed in a web-based platform (GIS) for use by FDOT, airports, and decision makers. The first phase of this project will be an assessment and exploratory phase to identify what is needed, who uses the data, and how it should be collected, updated, and communicated.
