Project Description
To leverage new software tools and increase internal and external coordination, we are scoping an exploratory project for a new web-based data and CIP management platform. This will be performed for all modes within the Freight, Logistics and Passenger Operations Office. The first phase of this project will include system requirements, a basic process and system map, and comprehensive internal and external stakeholder outreach to ensure all needs are considered. The results of this phase will be guidance on system requirements, alternatives, and a roadmap for the procurement, testing, and roll out of this new system. The entire process will take 3 years, with this phase complete in late 2019.
