Project Description
There is a new pre-inspection data review process for the non-Part 139 Airports. FDOT used to print out and mail the airport information to the airports to solicit updates; a new electronic method will be replacing that. 3 months prior to an airport’s scheduled annual licensing inspection, a system-generated e-mail from the FAD will be sent out to the Airport Manager, Inspection Contact, Licensing Contact, and Primary Contact. The e-mail will state the inspection is coming up and to follow the link in the e-mail to review and update the airport information. This is the information FDOT used to physically mail out with a request to make changes and send back to our office.
