Project Description
FDOT’s Aviation and Spaceports Office (ASO) will be initiating an interim update to the Florida Aviation Project Handbook. In addition to incorporating relevant to policies and procedures, newly-added sections from the 2016 update include: 1. JPA compliance and project-specific considerations (CCNA, reporting/compliance/certification requirements, invoicing, etc.) 2. Special appropriations 3. Grant assurances 4. Program timelines 5. More detailed discussion on work program development, scheduling (5-year, new 5th year, etc.), coordination w/Districts, changes to the adopted work program, etc. 6. An airport-specific list of key FDOT and FAA staff contacts The updated Handbook is available for download at the link below. FDOT ASO will no longer be printing the Handbook. As such, we now have the ability to make changes on an as-needed basis.
